Finding a job

Posted 21 July 2012 - 10:34 AM

Once i hold a certificate to say im a certified Java programmer whats the best way to get a job? as i would have no previous work experience in this field and also im studying through a college and not a university.

I was told by my tutor to maybe find a place where i can work for free to gain experience?

Where's this certification from?

I would look for internships in your area... I would also suggest building some programs to make a portfolio...

There must be 50 threads on DIC from this year alone where this has been asked. Have you tried the Search tool in the page masthead?

But personally I think you're not going to get better information than all the coverage in the Q&A with the experts thread where this was gone over extensively.
