It seems that at about 11PM PST, the server becomes unresponsive and I get a series of 503 errors for about 3-5 minutes. Is this the regular scheduled maintenance time for the server?

It's usually not bad when just browsing and reading, but I've lost a couple long replies that I've composed online. I'm now trying to make a habit of composing on notepad first, and then pasting into the forum.

I've always done that due to their filtering "feature" that stops some replies being posted anyway, couple that with the random 503's and yes it almost becomes a requirement

That said, I had a 503 the other day which after writing a long reply on my phone, and luckily it still posted fine.

Several people do this, from what I've heard. Yes, there seems to be maintenance scheduled right around then daily.
