Could any lend me a hand and give me a good list of government policies to implement in my game Colony? Don't be fooled by the title, it's set in the modern times, with a modern government.

I would ask my co-worker, Cam, but he's away at the moment...

What do you mean by "policies". That seems like an awefully broad question.

I mean, at a very high level, there's Economic Policy, Foreign Policy, Monetary Policy (which is really part of Economic Policy), Education Policy, Health Policy, Imigration Policy, Environmental Policy, and pretty much anything the government gets involved with it has a policy on.

Actually, this is only game two, Neighborhood Watch and IDS were canceled.

If you do a SimCity type game, I think I've got a book for you to read. I can't remember the title off the top of my head, but it's in my library. It goes into a great lot of detail on everything that goes into running a city like power, garbage, transportation, etc. Basically, a lot like SimCity but a lot more detail without going into too much detail.
