Ebay Listing Slider?

Hi I'm new here and I didn't really know which section to post this question in so I apologize if I should have put it somewhere else but here goes:

Basically I have this Ebay store and I know enough to make sliding galleries for it but I don't know how to make an actual listing slider, for instance one that showed my latest items or most popular.
I know I could easily pay someone to do this for me but I'd rather learn how to do it myself. I'm not expecting anyone to teach me in a 3 lined reply or anything I was just wondering if anyone already knew where I could learn this from as I have been looking everywhere for about a week or so and all I can find either tells me how to make a normal image slider or else is trying to sell me a listing slider. Thanks in advance.
