can not start phpadmin in ubuntu server 12.04

HI all,

I have install apache and mysql but I can not go to phpadmin from browser.
this is the example I followed

I reinstall and said , already installed.


what is going on here ???

It will be quite hard.. at this point you installed it.. doing lord knows what to the config files.. mucked around with it.. and then tried to partially uninstall it.

Clear everything out and install it again.. then if you can't get where you need to go tell us the error message.

following guidens helped me to solve above

Please read this section in Ubuntu wiki. You will need to configure your apache2.conf to make phpMyAdmin works.

gksu gedit /etc/apache2/apache2.conf

Then add the following line to the end of the file.

Include /etc/phpmyadmin/apache.conf

Basically what you need to do to get PhpMyAdmin running is to alias its directory to Apache, add it in the configuration to be accessible locally.

Your job is to find out what aliasing and allow from deny from are.
