Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that a "swampie" badge you've got there...

The number of useless badges is getting really pointless. Now it's getting to just one post that takes up three quarters of the page on my laptop.

Try renaming search.exe to catmydrivegolf.exe

That creates a mpeg_videos.txt file that both sequential.exe and random.exe use.

This assumes you shoot golf video like I do. Start recording as they address the ball (hello ball) and stop on completion of the swing...

This catalog plays the complete 10 to 15 second clip. The video file remains open; playback jumps to 6 seconds from the end and resumes; then with 3 seconds remaining it switches to slow motion. Finally the last 3 seconds play TWICE at full speed.

With 2 camcorders; we shot over 180 clips for the tournament. See what controls the playback in mpeg_videos.txt

Nobody but nobody can touch you on the golf course with this technique my Swampies. Go get 'em.

The code from 2 years ago is here:
http://www.telusplan...edan/source.txt

people just laughed and laughed at the code. So I quit posting it.

The flowchart for the most difficult part, the hilite / line wrap logic, is on these 2 pages:

What's with them anyway? There's heaps of them now. Moustachioed and beardy? What purpose do they serve?

It's for those who pay attention to certain aspects of DIC.. and those who don't to wonder about. Though I heard something beard related commentary in the DICTv thread..

Putting in a goto and jamming it saved me a lot of time.

Cripes I wrote most of this code in 1999. Sometimes I feel like a strange to it. A simple goto here and there and presto all of a sudden it works better than expected. The latest feature... The ability to mix text with video and pics works pretty well. I haven't tested the random by group stuff yet and may need to add a couple more gotos.
