Hi all,

I am a coding newbie trying to control the entries in a database. Please tell me to repost in another forum if you think I need to!

I have been able to set-up a database and filter out the entries I need in a table adapter. I have also found the right info on how to update the database after the changes have been made to the table adapter.

The functionality I am trying to add is so that on a button click the value in 1 column of selected (or all) rows is copied to the value of another column. Additionally setting the value in an input form of selected (or all) rows with a null value in a particular column.

I'm sorry if this is very simple but a pointer to the right info, tutorial or tips would be very gratefully received.
