Disk 1 says it is the primary partition... unless that's specific to each hard drive and OSDisk is the primary partition on Disk 0 instead of Recovery.

Now I see. Disk 0 contains your OS. Each disk can contain 4 primary partitions. If you need more partitions, you need to create an extended partition and add partitions to this. A primary partition is the "active" partition and you can boot a primary partition.
