Computer science, homework help?

Posted 09 August 2012 - 04:43 PM

Hey guys,
i have having a bit of trouble with my computer science homework and i was hoping someone here would be able to help me. i had 25 question and i did fine with the rest but just have a bit of trouble these three, so will really appreciate if someone can help me.

What are the difference(s) and similarities between RAM, DRAM and DIMM?

If SRAM was used in the main memory of a computer, would it be faster? if yes than why isn't it normally used?

If you load a large file from a hard disk it may take 20 seconds to open in your WordProcessor. You then close it and then 10 minutes later you go to your hard disk to open it again. What happens and why?

Well, what were you able to come up with? At least post what you think is right.
