problem footer

Posted 10 August 2012 - 02:14 AM

Hello,
I can not put a footer at the bottom.
It starts at the right place as before he starts down the window and not at the bottom of the page.

# footer {
position: absolute;
bottom : 0px;
clear: both;
float: left;
margin-top: 10px;
width: 980px;
}
# {footer_text
float: left;
}

<div id="footer">
<div id="footer_text">
FOOTER </ div>
</ div>

Thank you in advance for your help.

Your CSS selectors are all wrong. The first one has a space between the # and the footer, and the second one just has a # selector with the actual ID somewhere inside the block.

If you want to style an element based on an ID, the syntax is:
#theid {
    /* Insert CSS styles */
}
