So, if some of you have read my multiple other threads you would know that I am working on a website that is (quite obviously) taking way to long!, anyways, My whole login system was done using MySQL and PHP, so, my question for you is, is ASP.NET a better way to go? Now some things you should know
- I plan on implementing my own forum
- I plan on implementing a purchasing system (my clan has jumpers )
So there's my question, also, if you do think it is, can anyone post some links to some extremely awesome tutorials/guides

We can't tell you if ASP.Net is better. We don't know what "better" means. Do you know C# or VB.Net? Do you know PHP? If your lack of knowledge of PHP is what's slowing you down, and you know .Net, then yes, ASP.Net would be better. If it's your lack of web development in general, then ASP.Net will not be any "better" than PHP. They are both web technologies. Neither is magical nor will do the work for you.
