WPF or Windows Forms

Hello all Im new to this Message Board. I have a customer who want to know if you can use WPF apps for a UI instead of Windows Forms in .NET Programming?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

WPF is the way Microsoft is pushing all UI development.
So yes, WPF is pushing WinForms out of the picture.

WPF with xaml is so powerfull. Though i'm pretty sure WPF is mostly made for GUI but u can code UI aswell.
