Clearfix issue and image height

Posted 16 August 2012 - 09:14 PM

Howdy,

I'm working on a WordPress theme I want to submit to wordpress.org, but I'm having some issues and am pretty stumped. Anyways, I have two issues that I hope someone can take a look at (the issues are mainly with the featured-wrapper and within):

1) There is a clear-fix on the featured-content div that is adding about an extra 3px of height to the featured image (that is why the little black nav boxes are not aligned properly (...I think)). I'm using the JQuery Cycle for the slider so maybe there is an issue with that as well(?).

2) I don't know why the images are not 920 x 260 to begin with since I set that properly in my themes functions.php. I pondered adding a height:260px to the featured image, but that would obviously screw up the responsiveness of the theme.

I hope I explained the problems well. If not, let me know and I'll try again.

I uploaded the theme to my test site: http://jagst3r15.com

Thanks :)
