I've been a programmer for the last 15 years, working with a whole range of languages from blitz on an amiga through c/c++ on nt to foxpro and pres and many in between. I currently work for a print company and am actually the only programmer in this office which brings me onto online guides / questions a lot, as without others to bounce ideas or problems off you end up in a world of confusion.
Is there a section at all on here for people looking to meet other programmers in the area to discuss projects in person?
Anyway, I'll have a read through some things and then try to take part.
Ken.

Welcome! I do not believe there's a specific area to meet up folk but if you want to throw it in the cubicle corner that won't be a large problem. Outside of that I would suggest checking linkdin for groups in your area.. it always seems to be a good starting point.

Ooh thanks, I've always looked at linkdin as somewhere to look for a new job! Unfortunatly the company proxy/firewall considers it a social networking site so I'll have to have a look when I'm at home.
I'll pop something in the cubical corner. thanks again.
