Real cool advanced simulator

Posted 22 August 2012 - 03:11 PM

Hey,

I was just watching some perpetual motion videos on YouTube, and thought; "Hey, I'd pay anything to get my hands on a real good advanced physics simulator.".

So, does anyone know of a real good physics sandbox? The best I know of is Phun/Algodoo.

A simulator where you can create objects, constraints and other cool things (such as water) and be able to create contraptions with them.

I suppose really advanced ones would be, too advanced, and requiring a data center's worth of processing power to run, but, is there anything like Phun/Algodoo?

Is This A Good Question/Topic? 0

I believe that stuff can be made in blender with some clever programming or maybe even a couple pushes of a button.

I never got into Blender when I tried to learn it, but perhaps it could be. I'm not too savvy with any physics equations, so if I can't integrate a physics engine, there'll be no hope for me.

I've played that game for years, but not really as advanced as I'd like though - it's cool on the iPad though!

Might not be what your looking for but still very cool.
