Wait, your on a place full of geeks all day, and you go with a medieval theme, which as baavgai said, has been used to death? Come up with a good way to go sci-fi and you'll have something.

Lol, blood wine and gagh! A least you know tlhIn`toq will be there...
I've been searching for some photos of a particular mead incident for this thread but appear to have lost them.
Once, when mulberries were in season, I set up a five gallon batch of mulberry mead on the kitchen counter. It was a beautiful deep purple and I'd planned to move it to the basement once it started bubbling.
Alas, the pulp that had been in solution the night before had gathered to the top of the carboy, forming a plug. The result was a blocked fermentation lock. The pressure built up to the point that the thing exploded! There was purple for a ten foot radius from ground zero. On the ceiling was an impressive dark stain. Small paw prints on the kitchen floor told the story of the cat who bore witness to the event.

My family has several mulberry trees on our land(my grandfather is one of those farmers that has lived on the same 160 acres from birth to present and bought up a bunch of farm/pasture land in the area), you could just eat the things raw when their nice and ripe but they're amazing in a pie.
