Glad I'm not the only one who plays this

My Gw2 info:
Server: Fort Aspenwood, since the April beta
Playing as a human Guardian named "Avr"
Guildless

I think it's a good game, but it could be better. It's pretty buggy even after launch and after a number of big beta events and stress tests. Graphics are decent, and the story is alright. Combat is really fantastic, and overall it's pretty unique and top-of-the-line for a MMORPG. It seems like it's lacking something, though.

Fort Aspenwood is one of the servers in the same battlegroup as my server, so you and I will most likely run into each other at some point on the battlefield, AVReidy. I look forward to it.

I just did Ascalon Catacombs in story mode. It's a level 30 dungeon. I got to kill all my favorite people from early GW1 which was fun. Earlier I tried to do Caudecus's Manor. That was a wash though. The first boss can do permanent AOE knockdown and we didn't have anyone who could counter that.

I still haven't touched the Ascalonian Catacombs, and I have 2 more to do too. Too busy just exploring and doing stuff. Level 50 now.

I really want this game. But my internet connection is so crappy, I dont even want to imagine how slow the game would be.

Yea, I'm about 1k experience from level 50 myself and I've yet to touch any of the dungeons. There's far too much to do to worry about spending 2+ hours in a low level dungeon for a very slim chance of getting loot that I might be able to sell on the trader one day when ArenaNet gets it back online.

It was up for a brief stint the other night, I got an awesome dagger and full pirate armour with more than double my original armour stats for 1g.

I'll post a better one when I'm home. I have GW2 on my work PC but my graphics suck. Dyes are chocolate and ruby (rare and uncommon respectively), with probably a few others, I forget.

I'll make sure I add you to my friends list, gabehabe. In this game, cross-server communication is possible and you can even play with people on different servers by using the overflow server system, so long as the main instance on your server is full and you are both in the same group. I've been able to group with people from other servers before, which is awesome in my opinion.
