beginner

well, am a beginner to the IT world. Am doing bsc web and multimedia development and am really confused about the programming fundamental module. i believe there much experienced people out here. can i have a brief description about programming fundamentals?

There really isn't a "brief" explanation about the fundamentals of programming. The basics are still entire text books. Even the term 'programming' is so broad and vague as to be hard to cope with.

Programming... of Windows applications.
Programming... of embedded hardware for digital security doors
Programming... of small controls that are sold to other programmers.
Programming... of apps for mobile devices
Programming... of computers that run your car's engine

Drop by a book store, public library or major computer retailer like Fry's Electronics that would have a book section.
