Silverlight Poker App Architecture

Posted 27 August 2012 - 01:02 PM

I'm trying to figure out a structure for a multiplayer poker game and if we succeed we will put that on facebook as well. And I dont have that knowledge in WCF to design this architecture.

Anybody have an opinion about a solution ? which one would be more appropriate ? WCF Duplex or Socket Programming ? I will use Silverlight, does Silverlight have some restrictions ? What would you suggest to implement casinos&scaling (servers) , tables and game screen ?

Thanks in advance

If you don't have the WCF knowledge, buy a book. There's too much information for us to give you a quick crash course. And we're not going to architect your program for you.

Having stumbled across SignalR about a month ago, I thought I'd throw it out as suggestion instead of using WCF Duplex.
