Chicks.. tons of chicks... the ability to highly function at odd hours... the passion for odd sciencey knowledge (like leap seconds and solar flare cycles) to explain why a process failed to the "normies". An appreciation of my own strong personal musk after breaking from a fifty-six hour code-a-thon. An collection of many leather-bound books, and my apartment smells of rich mahogany. A deep and glowing tan of a big kahuna... the body of an Adonis.

Women (read: Woman, but others dig me too).
Money.
Cars.
Knowledge.

To be fair, the first is a consequence of the latter items, rather than a direct result of programming.

High cholesterol, high blood pressure, yellow-bronze teeth, and an addiction to coffee. At least that's what I have from staying up finish school projects.

Oh, and don't forget the anxiety attacks in public/crowded/put on-the-spot locations from being inside and coding all the time.

Well, second and maybe third. I bet most people would be willing to overlook a lack of knowledge for a thick wad and a bitchin' set of wheels. Hell, it worked on my sister-in-law (RIP).

  • The respect and admiration of my peers and colleagues.
  • Ever worsening handwriting.
  • Increasing preference to seclusion.
  • More motivation to go to the gym.
  • An ever growing appreciation for the power of sleep, or when lacking, naps.

You make a very good point.

I do however have no idea what a Lesbaru is, unless you mean this:

A late model Subaru, typically a wagon, seen being driven by a woman

Ha, woman! :D
