I've been offered a position in the main office of the company that bought our company.
It means a much better career path and opportunity for advancement.
Only its in another country. A good country, someplace I'd enjoy. But its still not the good ol' U.S. of A.

What kinds of things have anyone had written into their relocation deal?
Paying relocation costs including:

• Personal items
  
• Household goods like furniture etc.
  
• Vehicles?
  
• Vehicle conversion to right-side-drive?

A couple people told me they had an annual round-trip flight back home paid by the company written into the deal.

What else have you heard of or negotiated yourself in this situation?

How about some employment guarantees, guarantee x number of years employment or they pay for the return trip expenses. Are you actually planning to take your RV? Size may be an issue.

I'd request a new vehicle instead of converting my current vehicle.

Of course make sure they're taking care of your green-card, but I assume that's a given. Just saying because you didn't include it. Also consider the life of said green-card and maintaining it for however long you're with the company in this country.

Also I personally would want to visit the country before moving there to make sure I'm cool with the place. I've relocated before, got there, and HATED the city. Job was awesome, but the location drove me mad, and my work suffered for it.

Visiting first is a must. I'd also sit down and list out the things you need as-is, the things you can substitute, and the things you can do without, and investigate the items on the list when visiting- google can only be a second choice, because odds are that the results you find will be of people in your shoes trying to find something that the locals have a variation of (or do without) that isn't in the results.
