Hi D.I.Coders,
I've been looking into using PHP's interactive mode from a CLI perspective, but I need the readline module installed before it can work. (Shown by not being included in php -m).
I'm using Windows 7 and XAMPP to host a local server. Where do I go from here?
Here's a relevant snippet from the XAMPP readme:
###### ApacheFriends XAMPP (Basispaket) version 1.7.4 ######
+ Apache 2.2.17
+ PHP 5.3.5 (VC6 X86 32bit) + PEAR
Essentially, I am looking for a step-by-step guide. PHP's documentation and GNU readline tell me absolutely nothing. (Well, they explain little and in a level of language far beyond my ability to comprehend).
Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated!
Cheers,
Bladescope
