Did a massive upgrade on my Arch Linux box. Did a reboot, kernel panics. Motherboard will not post on restart.
Anyone ever see a correlation between the two?
Tangent: I had a similar issue with no mobo post a couple weeks ago, reseating graphics card fixed it. Going to troubleshoot more tomorrow.

Motherboard POST has nothing to do with the OS. This can be proven by removing the hard drive.
It's likely that the kernel panic was caused by a hardware fault. I'd check the memory first.
