when I gave those extra details, i didn't want to derail this topic to the legitimacy of my purchase.

if you think i got the nook through illegal means, report this topic and have it closed.

else, say something helpful like which of the downloads in the nooter project could be tweaked

You could try it out and see how it goes.. maybe even write up a bit of 'what to know going into it'! Just like an explorer!
