Is "Bing" the sound it makes when it returns googles results for the same query?

Really sad thing about that video is that it could have been shot in Vancouver Canada and you would have never known. The city has like 40% Asian population.

How to find stuff on the internet:

  • Install the Bing plugin in your favorite browser
  • In the search bar, type "google"
  • Press enter
  • Enter your query
  • Press enter
  • ???
  • PROFIT!

Took the BingIt challenge - chose Google 4/5 times. Took it again and again and again. Out of the 4 attempts I choose Google 3/4 or 75% of the time. #Bing it just isn't meant to be.

Picked Google 80% of the time. I think their "People pick Bing 2 to 1" claim is based on skewed data.

Was discussing that very statement at work today. The conclusion was people that tend to be less computer literate will more than likely choose Bing. Power users, and people that spend most of their time working with or on computers will more than likely choose Google.

I would say that these illiterate users will use whatever is the default for their browser, never realizing they can use something else.
