selenium firefox driver findElement invisible?

Posted 13 September 2012 - 03:01 PM

I wonder how selenium firefox driver works.
I look at the page source, do not see the element name, but driver.findElement(by.name(..)) can find the element?

So how do I see the elements the driver sees (obviously not from page source of browser)?

firefox "inspect elements" shows element class name, not element name..
which plugin can show element name and id?
