Html validator problem

Posted 16 September 2012 - 01:28 PM

<form method="post" action="/premium">
<select size="1" name="premiumopt">
<option value="1month">1 <?php echo $lang[month];?> - <?php echo $cursymbol .$uscontent[11] ."/" .$lang[mo];?> (<?php echo $cursymbol .$uscontent[11];?>)</option>
<option value="3months">3 <?php echo $lang[months];?> - <?php echo $cursymbol .$a3mo ."/" .$lang[mo];?> (<?php echo $cursymbol .$uscontent[12];?>)</option>
<option value="6months">6 <?php echo $lang[months];?> - <?php echo $cursymbol .$a6mo ."/" .$lang[mo];?> (<?php echo $cursymbol .$uscontent[13];?>)</option>
<option value="12months">12 <?php echo $lang[months];?> - <?php echo $cursymbol .$a12mo ."/" .$lang[mo];?> (<?php echo $cursymbol .$uscontent[14];?>)</option>
</select></td>
<input type="submit" name="premium" value='Signup' /></form>

is there any other way to write that coding WITHOUT using the form tag? because I have a new form tag opening right after and it is causing errors in html validator and also in some browsers like Internet Explorer 8

Is This A Good Question/Topic? 0

Is there a reason you need two forms on the same page?

yes one of them going to paypal transaction depending on the amount or duration you choose from the drop down menu(it sets the amount for you on the paypal page) and the other button to let guests bypass to the next page which i used a form and input tag to handle as well

Sounds like a link would be better used than a form for tour bypass
