Is there a way to share a form value across browsers? I'm under the impression this is impossible.
Assume that the latest version of modern browsers are used.
use case:
Client opens IE9, navigates to my site, enters in his username and password into the login form, successfully logs in, completes his tasks, and then leaves.
the next day, he installs firefox, navigate to the site, he ONLY enters his password because his username is automatically filled in, etc.
thoughts?

Nope. I don't think that it's possible. That's why they have password managers for browsers. I might be proven wrong though.
