"We don't think the browser is going to go away."

Adobe Systems Inc. is releasing new design tools that further blur the divide between software that runs offline on computer desktops and programs that work on the Web, the company said on Sunday. via Boston Globe

Google also released "Gears" last week which does something similar to "Apollo".

Anyone going to be developing with either of these new tools? Making content available offline seems genius for news organizations and some content portals.

I'd love to hop on a plane and have 2000-3000 articles ready to be read.

We already have been testing with Apollo now AIR and things look really good for this product.
I just hope that they packed the plug-in to with the next release of flash play or something like. Cause at the moment it is a separate download.
