Posted 20 September 2012 - 03:40 PM

Is it possible to take the values from excel or text file and then find the minimum and maximum of a given column or row?

Split the topic from an old, only slightly related one.

The answer to your question is, of course, yes. It is possible.

Hi,

You could save your Excel file as a .csv file and just parse this for the values required.

A .csv file is just a text file.

Or you could use OLE automation through the COM Model.

Best Wishes

Snoopy.
