Hi can anybody tell me why,when i export data from access using vb6 to excel i have formatted the cells that i want to be bold and have boarders in them,the first time when i run the project i works well but if i export another report it has no boarders and not formatted,i have attached the screenshot of the spreadsheet

When you say "another report" are you talking about the same report a second time or a new report entirely?

am talking about the same report a second time and any other report sharing the same code

yes the same data,the data comes out correctly the problem is putting the boarder around the cells which do not work

Well, it's clear to me that you're copying from two different sources here. There isn't just the "border" problem (FYI, a "boarder" is a person who pays to live in someone's house, sorry for our Byzantine spelling practices), the text is different in some of the cells. If you're always copying to the same range (not enough info here to determine that), then you're probably copying formatting to the cells along with data. I would look into whether you have a "paste special" in there somewhere.
