After compiling my program, I got 15 E level messages like:

147 E Unrecognizable word or literal 'PSCORE'
147 E Unrecognizable word or literal '='
147 E Unrecognizable word or literal 'ITEMS'
147 E Unrecognizable word or literal '*'
147 E Unrecognizable word or literal '.50'
and so on..

Basically, this is a computation wherein PSCORE = ITEMS * .50.
I encoded an if-else statement within a method that calls another method to perform this computation.
I've declared PSCORE as well as ITEMS in the Data Division.
What could be the problem? Thanks!
