David Carradine could prolly give you a couple of tips to avoid "complications" in the future.

Been sick with some bad bug all week
It's Day 5, and while on the uphill side of things, still have a bad cough and am recovering. Hoping to feel well enough to hit the gym Saturday and do some lifting to work back into things. Thinking of doing the same weight as scheduled for this week, only doing low reps to work back in.

Last night I increased my weights. My bicep curls went to 20lbs, row at 45lbs, chest flies went to 7.5 (vs 5) on each arm (my boobs are weak), triceps were at 15, and my squats were 40lbs. Dem gainz.

Good job neotifa! I always find progress to be the best motivation
I got myself a guest pass to Golds Gym and have been going with some friends as often as I can. I've seem to have gone down on my lifts because of waiting so long, but I've reintroduced that nice feeling soreness and accomplishment, so I'll get back up there in no time
I suppose it's too late to get one of those brogrammer badges eh

Last night was the first night back at the gym after being sick all last week. The week off for rest was good, and thankfully didn't have much of any loss when continuing with my increased weights schedule. My left knee started getting a little janky while squatting 175, but it worked itself out by the third set. Finally hit triple digits on the Overhead Press, and am still trying to work on pull-ups.

Squats went up to 50 and my lats were 40. Not much else changed. Oh, according to my bmi, I am no longer obese, but merely overweight. Heres the calorie burn, heart rate, and zones for today's session.

Are you using one of those fancy heart-beat-detectors? I heard those cost quite the amount. They also suck in school, because they can actually tell when you're walking the mile haha.
But great job on the BMI decrease! Pretty sure you dodged like, a big percentage of developing those nasty health risks.

I really want one of those heart rate monitors for my running. The one that works with runkeeper on Android is only available in a few places but I have Best Buy gift cards and reward zone certs that I want to use to get it and any decent watch chest strap combo from best buy is over my budget right now. Oh well, just keep working out.

I was finally able to do some working out this morning. Nothing serious, just some push-ups and crunches, but I was able to get a decent burn at least. But I'm just watching all of strength, speed and stamina gains from the previous months melt away...

Tell me about it. Last week I was on site for a contract and couldn't run and no sooner do I get back home than I get a nasty chest cold. No way I can run when I can't frickin' breathe. Been a week and a half with no running and it's pissing me off this cold won't go the fuck away.

Finally moving into the new place next weekend. The new complex has a two story fitness area with tons of machines, free weights, benches, etc. I can't wait to get in there and get my body back in shape. Been out of it for too long.
