Future Computer School Assignment Help Please!

Hello dream in code fourm. I've recently enrolled in a computer science course where we're learning VB6. Everything's going smooth however we have an assignment due soon about the future of computers or future computing 2012 where we're supposed to make a small powerpoint about the lastest and greatest. I'm not asking you to do my homework but if you had any ideas about what I could do my project on that would be interesting. Currently I am considering quantum computing or infinite detail. But please if you have any suggestions for hardware, software or etc... That is futuristic I would love to have the topic in order to research. Thank you for your help and if this is in the wrong section I apologize.

On the off chance I may be considered an ass, but what happens when you type in "future and technology" into your search engine of choice?

I would disagree. Links to Forbe's tech area, Popular Science, an aggregate site called 'Future Timeline' that shoots out to beyond 10,000ad, a ton of images, silly number of news articles, and so on. Heck there even was a youtube video from June 2012 for tech out to 2020.
