Ways to trust your alarm:

1. Set your alarm clock so you have to get out of bed to turn it off.
2. There are phone alarms that require you to perform tasks before they shut off - solve a math problem or shake the phone back and forth or what not. Try those.
3. Stephen Fry alarm clock. (I'm told the voice samples are available on an open license, but I'm too lazy to find them for you)
4. Pay someone to be in your bed, ready to wake you up at the appointed hour. (I understand @GabeHabe works cheap.)
