Halloween

Posted 02 October 2012 - 07:40 AM

The Halloween holiday is less than a month away now and I was just wandering who would be dressing up, and as what. Me, my wife and son are all dressing up as the Dark Knight Rises characters this year, I will be Bane, she is gonna be Catwoman and our 7 year old is gonna be Batman.

I'm pretty bad at coming up with things to dress as for Halloween. I usually celebrate by playing some sort of scary or intense video game and throwing candy at visitors.

My favorite part of Halloween is that it falls in my favorite month - I'm a huge fan of fall.

I'm going to dress up as a shake weight.

The older of my children has already managed to put together her costume... she's going as the kid with the stupid white hat from Adventure Time.

My younger child changes her mind every two days... vampire, no, zombie, no, black cat, no, cat in the hat, no, princess, no, little orphan Annie, no, unicorn, no, butterfly, no... she'll figure it out eventually.

I don't even have an idea for myself this year. Last year I was a red shirt Vulcan, the year before I cannot for the life of me remember, and prior to that I was a clown. What to do... what to do... ?

Once again I let time slip through my fingers like so many grains of sand and failed to plan, procure, and produce my Santa Claws outfit to frighten little children for when the Red-man cometh. I might go back to my staples and do wounds and zombie and wear my labcoat... green? Green infections?

Now that I am thinking about it - I would shank a hobo for a really solid homemade orange popcorn ball right now.

Shut your mouth you dirty liar - Finn is awesome!

lol... I've never watched it. She only sees it at daycare. I didn't know what it was called or if it's even a kid. She sits around the house in her little white hat with ears and looks flippin special.

Slamacow! Give her an internet high-five. If I would have known in advance I would have totally been the Jake to her Finn.

Though throw a blue skirt on her and give her a stuffed cat and she could be Fionna - the girl version of Finn from the show's April Fools Day episode.

I'm tempted to go as Bill Clinton. I know a couple girls that thought it was funny, and seem down to dress up as Monica Lewinsky and a Cigar respectively.

Throw a bit of Elmer's glue on a blue Goodwill dress to complete the look.
