I have text stored in a cookie and some text stored in a hidden field. If I put alerts in my javascript to display the cookie value and the hidden field value they differ. For instance, I have & bull; (ignore the whitespace) in both locations. Displaying the value for the cookie shows just that & bull; (minus the whitespace) while the alert for the hidden field value is an actual bullet (dark circle). Is there a way I can retrieve and display the text in the hidden field as the text that was originally stored there? Thanks.
