python: mod_wsgi installation problem

i have downloaded mod_wsgi apache module both source code and .so file. I have place .so file to c:/xampp/apache/module/ directory as mod_wsgi.so. i don't know how to untar-->config-->make-->make installation process of the source code pls make me understan step by step
