Java text display question.

Posted 05 October 2012 - 08:27 PM

Hello everybody, I'm an amateur java programmer and game developer, and I need help with something.
I want to do a text adventure game, I already have the basic code and all. What I want to do is for it to display in a Zorg way (Plain text on a black background) , with the DOS appearance and such.
Do you guys know any way of doing so?

Thanks!

Well this all depends. If you are using eclipse your console will be that little white box. However. If you compile and run the code with your command prompt or run the program as a jar file it will open the program in the command prompt. Which will give you that Zorg look and feel.
