Hi, I've heard that C# is similar to VB.net. I want to learn a new language and am considering C#. Does C# allow me to do more than VB.net does? If anyone could enlighten me as to why C# would be good to learn after VB.net I'd be very grateful.
Regards,
Joel

Leave that to the moderators fellas and be helpful or don't respond. In rare and special cases you can do more than you could in VB.Net but add a few minutes to that, and you can do the same thing in both. I'd say dive into some c++ or Java, then dive to C# again. You'll really start to see similarities in code syntax after that, which will make it easier for you to grasp more languages. Personally I don't learn another language for bragging rights or just to learn every single language or something. I learn it if it offers a simpler route to accomplishing some task.
