java gui from mere string to images

i do have a code here. the problem is that, instead of string, i want these to be images. further step by step detailed instructions are inside this *.rar file named (stepbystep).txt

Well don't see any code, but if you have a string that is the images location you could use a ImageIcon then reload your GUI.
