A post somewhere about a chat bot in I think VB got me to thinking, how hard could it be to create a chat client/bot in Assembly? Not hard at all really if you know enough about sockets, it is really all in knowing how to communicate with the server.

Here is my attempt, feel free to modify it and add on to it. It is not commented, but I will explain anything if need be.

I have tested it locally with BewareIRCD server and also with irc.colosolutions.net and the DreamInCode chatroom, the basics work.

If you want, I could re-write in NASM without using any invoke macros/procs, esp by hand, push/pop/calls etc :-) I try to make it as simple as I can.
