Converting asp.net markup <%# Eval() %> to code behind.

Posted 10 October 2012 - 10:31 AM

I have a dynamically built grid that is being put into a asp:Placeholder.

I need to evaluate the value of a row based on the column name so that a specific row can be deleted. Since I'm using a placeholder, I can't pass the commandargument via markup using eval. Or at least not that I'm aware of.

So I want to basically convert what would be
<%# Eval("Pricesguid") %>
to my C# code behind.

It would be something along the lines of
BoundColumn1.CommandArguement = Eval("Pricesguid");
.

Is this possible to do?

Could you explain what you're trying to do in a little more detail? And where are you getting BoundColumn.CommandArgument? Are you trying to select a row for deletion based on that PricesGuid, or just trying to assign that value to a row?
