Type of combat preferred in a game

Alright guys...this is for you gamers out there. I would like to know as to how you face your opponents in games.Do you like to sneak upon the enemy and take him by surprise, or maybe announce to the world that you are approaching by firing in the air...or something like the patient type who waits for the enemy to approach before attacking.

Well, as for me, I prefer to be the sharp shooting sniper( that is a perfect example of an alliteration) who assesses a situation from far off and takes out potential threats.

That's about me. So now I would like to know what you like :)

I like reaching the enemy anyhow, and then pwning them.

I like using bows where available. A lot more fun than sniping with a gun, somehow.

Sneaking, whether it's up close and personal or not, sneaking is how I always go. Something about entering and exiting a mission area without anyone knowing you were there is exciting to me. :shuriken:

First, I go stealth and sneak up on the enemy. Once they start to get intimidated("Only cowards fight in the shadows!Blah blah") I go out with my guns out then blast them so they shut up.

Oh, if its a game where you don't shoot anybody I just trash talk.

I usually start as the stealthy sort, but end up berserking by the time I'm halfway through the game. I must have played Oblivion more than a hundred times before I finished it. Everytime I restarted with a new character, my previous character would be a thief or something. The character I used to finish the game was a warrior with hand to hand.

I'll join the ranks of the sneaky sneaky crowd. Like quite a few people here, I am a fan of stealth and sniping. Or, if I can't snipe someone, sneaking up behind them and slicing throats is also fun.

I prefer sniping. In the battlefield games (no longer play them), the sniping class is the first one I max out. And don't worry, I still contribute to the team :)

I personally like to take a nice warm shower followed up by a methodical straight razor shave. After a brisk pat of aftershave, and a thorough teeth brushing, I find a clean shirt and pants - of course with a sharp matching belt and shoes. I patiently iron the shirt and pants, don my evening garb, and give myself two spritz of a complementary cologne. Typically I try and show up about five minutes early, with a few flowers in hand, and take calm and even steps to the front door. I do not want to rush and work up a sweat nor do I want to stumble into the Dutch colonial house's topiary like some god awful Ben Stiller movie. With a large smile I greet who answered the door and proceed to engage in exploratory small arms conversation. This of course will shift and escalate with feigns and full frontal barrages.

Rush in, spend 2 minutes aimlessly running around the room before going splat everywhere, then going for chicken?

You know, I know some girls who might view this as an improvement on many of their dates.
