Was reading the news this morning - I'm soon going to take a news hiatus because this shit is depressing - but I came across this story.
The short of it: Some guy from Boston (kiparsky? is that you?) flew into Los Angeles from Japan and was searched when TSA became suspicious of the bullet proof vest the guy was wearing under his coat.
A search of his luggage turned up a smoke grenade, billy clubs, a baton, a respirator, knives, a hatchet, body bags, a biohazard suit, handcuffs, leg irons, and a dog-repelling device.
Seriously. WTF? Who pissed in this guy's Wheaties that he feels the need to stock up on torture/murder supplies? Did the Japanese street vendors have a sale on fucked up souvenirs?

Perhaps he was just the ultimate scout... Be prepared and all that.
I mean, that list of stuff in his luggage kinda suggests he was about ready for the end of the world. Either that or he has some seriously twisted fetishes.

POPULAR
What is the world coming to, when a guy can't even get through airport security with a hatchet, a smoke grenade and a couple of body bags...

You carry around the bodies in the trunk? I throw them away once I'm done with them. Otherwise they'll stink up the car.

I prefer eating them. That way, there is no tension of disposing them off.

I can't wait to find out that stuff like this was staged by the TSA to try to justify their worth. Cause it really wouldn't surprise me.

hatchets and knifes are so hard to dispose of; it's best to use something like an ice sickle or a frozen chunk of meet I could then feed to the cops investigating(got the last one out of a short story I read in high school). if it wasn't for the mess I would say a shotgun cuz it's so hard to trace.

Actually, the best thing to use something like a knife/bullet made out of ice. That way, there will be absolutely no evidence.
Also, you can exchange someone's water with concentrated HCl. When they drink it... you are smart enough to guess the rest
@Daren : Naw, that is too much time consuming. I like it the good old cannibal style.

The fu.. Shit, this actually sounds like the details of a spree that has at least some cleverly thought-out details... I mean, hiding out in a body bag with a respirator is a brilliant move if you can get close to the other body bags; multiple body bags, that you're in a position to fill, mean you can make your own bureaucratic camouflage, if you do it right.
