Well, a knife I would agree, but a bullet made of ice would probably wet the gunpowder in the gun.

About exchanging water with HCl, the container carrying the HCl(concentrated) will probably burn down before actually reaching the intended person, unless of course, you want to give it to him in a conical flask

I disagree. If your bottle is of 3rd grade quality, then I'm not responsible. But most containers can easily handle HCl.

HCl is Hydrochloric Acid...it is very corrosive in nature...especially concentrated HCl.

half the stuff the mythbusters bust are on a purely speculative basis in which they never actually follow the conditions that are set forth of the so called myth.

The latest one was the burying in sand to kill someone in which they said probable to busted yet it is documented in medieval torture literature.

Either way, you can use some kind of high pressure gas, at a very low temperature, to fire the ice bullet. That way, I'm pretty sure anyone can be killed.
