No, not even that. I shot a rubber band at a co-worker, that's about it.

Hang on, I'm going to do it again.

EDIT: Missed!

Seems your aim is just as good as mine, too!

Not that I know anything about this stuff, mind you. Never fired a gun in my life, but that's what I hear.

Glad you said that. This will certainly prevent cops from knocking on your door after looking at your expertise on weapons. ;)

Hey, if they bring the doughnuts I'll be glad to tell them everything I know. Won't take very long.

Lol...:D That certainly deserves a (+). Too bad I'm already done with my quota for the day. I shall hit that button tomorrow :)

I would certainly agree with you but there is a law which states that it is OK to kill anyone in self defense or in any situation where you feel your life is threatened.

That depends greatly on your state, and the circumstances. In some states, there is even a "self defense in the third person" clause that allows you to kill in defense of someone else. But again, it is up to you to determine your states laws, and how they apply.

And I can also tell you, from the experience of a friend, that even in Texas it isn't okay to kill the son of a DA, even if said son was on meth when he attacked said friend, and said friend had merely grabbed a kitchen knife out of fear (femoral artery wound).

Hope you have a Keurig, or the coffee won't be done in time.

Aeropress, baby. Hand-made coffee, and oh so tasty.

Which reminds me... time for more coffee!

How long does an Aeropress take? You still have to grind the beans, don't you?

About a minute to make a coffee, plus whatever it takes for the grinding. Then add fifteen minutes to chat with the guy who sees you working this plunger contraption and wants to ask you about it, and then you get into some sort of chat about some sort of thing, and then add a few minutes to make another cup, 'cause you drank the first one while you were talking. So about twenty minutes all told.

If only instruction manuals included practical info like that...

Well the first drafts always do. But then marketing gets hold of them, and they get all styled and the good stuff is removed.

In my neck of the woods, the most important thing to remember during a home-invasion or trespass situation is to shoot a warning shot in order to cover yourself later. When you have been taught properly, this shot is placed squarely in a side tree or your ceiling directly after the situation has been resolved, one way, or the other ^^
