Hi everyone!
I have recently launched a new website and I would like some developers to take a look at it and see what they think. It is a wordpress site with a custom theme and several plugins/editing/tweaking/... and I need some eyes that are not so close to the project to take a look. I really appreciate anything that you have to say about it (good or bad) as long as it is in a constructive manner. Thanks!
Adkins

Typically it helps to provide the link to the site or at least some photos of it.

Okay.. the logo.. not a fan. The gray sucks. The orange around the gray sucks. Try throwing a texture on it. That or maybe shorten the gray down to just around the main words/gun and have the flower bit pop out of the top of the box.
Over all the whole color scheme blows. What's up with the tan swoosh thing, and why was it thought throwing those logo colors on it would be good?
"Post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) "
Each word's first character should be capitalized.
"no one can go through war without being effected."
*shudder*

At the bottom: "Link1 | Link2 | Link3" - where do those go?
It's slow.. well at least the search is.
Submit a story has stars over the words.
Why are there "You must log in to post a comment." peppered everywhere? If it needs a log in shove it on the right hand side so the login is there!
Subscribe via email should take you to some confirmation page.. and it probably should validate email addresses to some level.
the favicon needs to not be word press.

The colors don't fit together, or you don't like the colors?

These will be fixed shortly. They were gone, but came back after it was transferred from a different domain.

Good points.
Thanks for taking a look and letting me know these things!
Can I get some other opinions on the color scheme? Is it really that horrible?

Both. When in doubt defer to sites on decent color schemes.

That is what I get for letting a professional designer do my logo and theme
Live and learn I guess. Any suggestions on color scheme that would work better considering the subject matter?

All of the above points from modi123_1 have been fixed (I think!) except for the color/logo debate and the email subscribe via email points.
Thanks once again to those that looked at it and I look forward to more feedback!
EDIT: email works as expected too, albeit a little unorthodox
