I'm working on my first CMS site and have released my beta for users to use and also to review; I was just hoping I could get some input on the website at this time for my CMS platform being my first beta. I don't claim to be an expert designer, but I'm hoping to get some useful input on the site at this time. Both from the view standpoint and if anyone wants to test the platform itself from the downloads section.
I didn't see an edit link, so here.

Navigation tabs - the one you are on should be highlighted some how.
The page logo - that be clickable to head back to the main page.
The transparent text areas are annoying.
Why is the footer area off colored?
I see a ton of lyte box used there. Interesting.
I am not a fan of the layout, lack of colors, or the background.
Also I am not sure exactly what the page is supposed to be about. Typically that should be loud and proud.

When you say you see a ton of the lytebox are you meaning that it should be downtoned a lot?
Footer area I off colored really just for a difference since I haven't put much effort into the layout yet. I do realize that I need to put more information on what the site is about. I have a lot of work to do in those regards. I'll put some work in on those points. Thanks for the input.
