datagridview wrap mode

Posted 13 October 2012 - 06:15 AM

i figure out that if i input string "test test test test test" to my DGV with
DefaultCellStyle.WrapMode = DataGridViewTriState.True
it will wrap with no problem, but when i input "testtesttesttesttest" then it will not wrapping. is that true? how to fix it? is string without space character will not wrapping?

It can be done but I've never gotten the results to look that good. (WrapMode depends on spaces or newline characters)Plus it ignores the AutoRowSize settings so that would have to probably be done manually also.

I don't have access to the application where I was playing around with it but I did find this link where it appears to be doing something similar. It's C# but should convert nicely using a C# to VB.Net converter.
